Tech Collective to Host Booth at Women's Summit 2010

“Grow With Us” theme will showcase Tech Collective initiatives and promote women in the technology fields.

Tech Collective, Rhode Island’s Information Technology and Biotechnology Industry Association, today announces it will be hosting a booth at the Women’s Summit® 2010, presented by Bryant University on Thursday, March 11, 2010 at the University’s Smithfield, R.I. campus.

This is Tech Collective’s first organizational presence at the event, and it’s booth will feature a “Grow With Us” theme, showcasing Tech Collective services and initiatives, including: member services, workforce development training funding, job scouting and marketing programs, youth involvement and cross industry, education and government collaboration.

Aligning with the mission of the Woman’s Summit, the Tech Collective booth will additionally promote professional women in technology fields – an initiative Tech Collective has supported enthusiastically through its acclaimed Women in Technology (WIT) event series. Attendees to the Women’s Summit will receive free admission to Tech Collective’s upcoming WIT event, “The Struggle to Juggle” on March 24th from 3:00 – 5:00 p.m. at the Twenty Water Street Warehouse Tavern in East Greenwich, R.I.

“Tech Collective is ecstatic to have a booth presence at the Bryant Women’s Summit this year,” said Colleen Burg, industry liaison for Tech Collective. “Many of our staff have attended the Summit throughout the years, and we continually admire the quality of the event, which has attracted nationally-renowned speakers and attendees alike into one high-powered forum for professional women of every level and industry. If you are attending the Women’s Summit on March 11th, be sure to stop by, check out our display and say hello. We’d love to see you!”

Tech Collective members and the public are encouraged to stop by the Tech Collective booth with a friend to receive a special gift and learn how Tech Collective can help grow their business in 2010. For more information about the Women’s Summit, visit http://wsummit.bryant.edu.
