2012 Student Tech Grants Awarded

At our 2012 Tech10 Awards on May 17th, Tech Collective awarded a total of $3,500 in IT and STEM scholarships.Thank you to our scholarship sponsors and congratulations to these deserving students! 

    Lighthouse Computer Services / Tech Collective Scholarship 
    $1,000 scholarship to a student studying IT/CIS/MIS and with an affiliation to one of the five US Military branches.

    Congratulations to 2012 scholarship recipient, Riley Tuttle!  A 2011 graduate of North Kingstown High School, Riley is entering his sophomore year at URI, majoring in Computer Engineering. His father is a Senior Master Sergeant in the 143 Airwing Unit at the Quonset Air Force Base. Thank you for your service!

  • Doug Schwinn / Tech Collective Scholarship 
    $2,500 to a female or minority student interested in pursuing a major in the STEM fields. 

    Congratulations to 2012 scholarship recipient, Kathryn Smith! Kathryn graduated this year from Woonsocket High School's Academy of Information Technology and Game Design. She will continue to pursue her love of technology at New England Institute of Technology this fall, majoring in Game Development and Simulation Programming.
