PROVIDENCE – Amos House, which recently celebrated the opening of its new facility in South Providence, received a new computer lab complete with eight desktop computers, 20 laptops for classroom use and routers, all courtesy of International Game Technology PLC.

The grand opening was held June 17 for Amos House’s new $6 million, four-story building on Pine Street.

Amos House, which was founded in 1976, operates the largest soup kitchen in the state, and assists more than 15,000 people a year who are homeless or in crisis.
