IGT signs 13-year contract with Florida Lottery

PROVIDENCE – Following a competitive procurement, International Game Technology PLC has signed a contract with the Florida Lottery to provide a variety of lottery solutions and services, the gaming company said recently.

The contract is for an initial 10-year period, but with the Florida Lottery simultaneously exercising the first of its three available three-year renewal options, the total contract period extends to 13 years.

Under terms of the contract, the Florida Lottery’s existing retailer terminal base will be replaced with IGT’s Altura Flex retailer terminal, which features a modular, open architecture design that allows retailers to efficiently interact with and service players.
